eyes stared back at me, sleeping I was. Then there they were his eyes peeking
at me from under the sheets. My first thoughts were why am I so wet, but those
thoughts would soon dry out. Not a sound was made, his moves were smooth, how
was he able to lie beside me, and I not awake? How could I be mad at him, he is
always there for me? It doesn’t matter how many times I tell my dog to stay out
of my bed, he constantly brings that drooping saliva mouth of his to bed.

item 1: I like the way you analyze the metaphor images. those make me understand the poem meaning
ReplyDeleteFrom my point of view, I have something to add to your rhetorical devices.
in the first place, the word "also" is repeated two times.
another rhetorical device here is assonance: night-my, star-are, eyes-my, also-souls
item 3: metaphor: cat-> people at higher social status, mouse-> people at lower social status
thanks for your comment,my friend. I really appreciate this. :)
DeleteHi, I have some comments for you :)
ReplyDeleteItem 1: Rhetorical devices: I have the same idea with Tuyết Nhung
Message: you can shorten it. for example: The beauty of the soul is the most important element to make the noble and enternal beauty of people.
Item 3: I agree with Nhung
Your entry is quite good.congratulation and good luck! :)
